Family home

These are our grandchildren. They have made so many incredible memories on this beach and being around the beach house. Just like our two daughters and ourselves, Ivo and Wilma Manz-Huvers. This wonderful place by the beach on the coast of the Dutch province of Zeeland has been our joy for 68 years already! Wilma was born and raised here, the Hotel Westduin used to be owned by her parents, uncle and aunt (Huvers family). Together with her siblings and nieces Wilma grew up in the hotel by the beach in this coastal environment. Also the beach bar ‘Piet Heijn’, now the beach pavilion, used to be part of the hotel, just like the little beach huts right next to it. When Wilma turned 19 years of age, Ivo joined the family and together they built a future on the coast of Zeeland.
